Hello, I have a CDL with no restrictions and a few months of automatic experience.
I'm planning a trip to Peru in a few months, and was thinking about getting some manual truck experience while down there. I might as well. It would certainly be cheaper than paying for lessons in the USA. I need shifting practice to get a good local job. Just wondering though, if that's feasible to do as a US citizen in a foreign country?
I assume it would be on a private closed course. I wouldn't really want to get on public roads down there anyway. Would I still need to get some sort of permit?
Learning in Peru and other cheaper countries
