I excitedly joined this forum back in August.
In the same month I began an eight week program here at my local community college.
Last night, 17 out of 19 attended graduation.
This morning I took the prized envelope to my local DMV and feel quite proud to be a newly certified CDL-A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Now it's time for the "Real" world to begin.
I've followed a great deal of the content and comments shared in this forum and only hope to be ready for what the industry plans to throw my way.
Still trying to decide between drybox, flatbed, or tanker, I hope that soon I'll be learning from seasoned professionals motivated to show a "newbie" the rules of the road and how "NOT" to be complete idiot behind the "real" wheel.
Perhaps I'll get lucky enough to meet a few of you along the way.
It's a good day to become a trucker.
