What difference does it make?? The world is not gonna end because you log one way or another, or at all. Or is this one of those " if you don't do it by the book your gonna kill a family of 4 when you pull out on the road" type deals??

Flip Flops and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Thank you. Not logging 5 minutes or so isn't going to kill anyone.

I get reimbursed for the ticket whether or not I log it.

How do you get off the highway drive to the t/s and the wait in line pull onto the scale wait for scalemaster to get around to weigh the truck then walk inside pay for it walk back to your truck and drive onto the Highway ? I'm trying to figure that one out and it doesn't ad up. I've done this a long time and it never affected my 14 enough to keep me from getting my 11.

excuse me sir, if you dont log legal, you are an outlaw, and in a few years, your world will end as you know it

and to be honest, i remember hearing of a guy who left the pilot in indiana (on US 30) DOT pulled him over and cited him for not flagging his stop at that pilot

so here comes the end of the world

thats because you are not logging it legal

all of that is on-duty not driving, at least 30 min

I guess this is just the first time I've ever heard of going on duty to scale a load.

You left out the time you (they) park on the fuel island (at the pump) go inside get your sandwich, coffee, pottie break, run into an old friend.......OH, never mind....that would be off duty clogging the fuel island...Line 8!:biggrin_2559:

i am not legal beagle, but anytime you are working for around in or by your truck, you are onduty, not driving

off duty means you are doing something not related to the truck, whatsoever

even sitting in walmart getting unloaded is onduty not driving, UNLESS you mark in the sleeper (some dispute this if you are in the driver's lounge)

    Suptrkr Thanks this.
