They just wanted to find a safer place for the tire guy to replace a blown tire.

You guys are too cynical. :D

Well in my opinion your no better than the guy sitting in the median. People that take pictures while driving and posting them on social media are pretty short sighted.

So two weeks from now your driving down the road doing everything right, a car loses control comes across the median, you hit them head on, a family of four is killed instantly. You did nothing wrong, no tickets are issued. Three months later the surviving family hires a lawyer, and files a lawsuit against you and the company you drive for. One of the first things any decent ambulance chasing lawyer is going to do is subpoena your phone records, which in turn lead them dig into all of your Social media posts. They find pictures that obviously show you using a handheld device to take pictures, and posting them. This will show a pattern of distracted driving in your past, the jury now finds you liable in the death of the family.

Sound far fetched? It happens all day, every day in our legal system. This is why most insurance companies that represent trucking companies settle cases out of court.

Maybe we need to start spreading rumors that rattlesnakes and sidewinders will eat you if you go off the road in the desert/plains...

I could easily take that pic hands free. I have a magnetic mount my phone sits on, facing out the front...I tap the button on my headset, when “she” asks how can I help you, I say take picture, or take video. That screen pops up on my phone and takes pic or video. I bet yours will do that too...

This is clearly an example of why automatics are dangerous, the guy was watching porn, got too excited and jerked the steering wheel thus causing him to go off the road

Coffey, bigguns and bentstrider83 Thank this.
