Initially I don't think it matters what direction a drivers' finger is pointing when he (or she) complains about a carrier, BUT, if you take the time to listen to all of the story AND if you are savvy to read between the lines.....80% of the time the finger points back at who is talking.

 

OP you are wrong. You can not take the truck home because you have an emergency. It is not your truck, that is theft. Its not the truck owners problem that you cant afford a bus ticket. It you cant come up with bus money you have serious problems. Also you cant expect weeks off for a car accident. Stop in, check in with your family. They are under medical care, nothing you can do. Take care of your work obligations, keep touch with family on the phone. If by off chance something goes wrong hop on a plane.

 

He probibly expected you to stop in, check on your family, then get back to work. Not to take it home and leave it parked losing him money

 

I'm just as lost as the title of this thread as to what's really going on.
