Lucas vs STP

Interesting.

 

i remember one informercial where they took off the valve covers and poured sand all over. i think they also took off the oil pan and sprayed the bottom end with water. might have been dura lube or maxx lube bs

 

Both are garbage lol

 

Put some 70wt. motor oil in your engine and it'll be the same as putting Lucas in there, at a fraction of the price.

 

In my opinion, both of these products have their place. Old, oil-guzzling motors can sometimes benefit from their use.

I've watched a lot of that guy's videos. He does some crazy stuff. Did you see the one where he builds a cylinder head out of wood?

 

Try one with no oil additive

 

Essentially if you run your engine out of oil, if you used Lucas instead of STP, it will take twice as long to blow up?

 

kind of pointless. but fun to watch. the only thing i like lucas for is the climbing ability is gives oil. i give it no credit for extending engine or oil life. i give that credit to my 15K oil drains and 5 micron oil filters.
