Mack granite steering problem

    All of a sudden I’m having an issue steering to the left. The truck gives 2 full rotations to the right but only 1 and 1/4 to the left. Any trouble shooting advice before I take it in to the shop?

    Is it one of the trucks in the Sheppard steering gear recall that's hit a bunch of brands? If not, I'd lift the front end and see/hear what you can. As long as both wheels are off the ground and the key is in the on position but the truck isn't running, you should be able to turn them by hand and see or feel for any binding or other issues.
