A "grown up" passed me a few weeks ago and gave me a dirty stare down because I was driving 55 mph in the left lane... where the speed limit was 55mph and the sign said "trucks use left lane". Seemed like he was very annoyed and had no idea why I was doing something so annoying and stupid.

Problem with most companies nowadays. Instead of hiring good drivers, paying a decent wage and letting them run the truck as a PROFESSIONAL, they'd rather just fill seats with any mutant with a pulse and control them through limiters, monitoring, crash avoidance and micro management. I still deal with limited levels of it leased onto Schneider, but at least I get left alone for the most part.

That's an example of a guy who shouldn't be behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle...can't follow simple posted directions or obey workzone speed limits...###whole!

I had a yutz do that in KY yesterday...he must have been doing 75+. I kept hoping I caught up to him with a trooper car behind him and him in the back seat while they were preparing to tow his arse

Also Zata40, if I remember, you are a fairly new driver?? Just in case you took it the wrong way, I by no means meant "grown up" to segregate senior drivers from rookies. There are a lot of tenured drivers out on these roads that drive like ignorant/arrogant j offs

PB only needs a push from a longtime repeat customer to incorporate that feature. Freightliner and Volvo both have that option.

No I didn't take it that way. I didn't even think of that. I was just making fun of the idea of drivers being grown ups lol. Thanks for clarifying though.
