Major eld failure ?

Our KT has been having lots of issues the last few weeks.
Screen locks up and must reboot to get it working
Workflow screen will not go active
Arrives you places your not even dispatched to.
Just changed over to ELD mode on Nov 1 will see whats next.
Still not a bad set up better than QC .

Didn't have any that went down. Maybe it was just those that needed the update by yesterday. We've had warnings about if for a few weeks now.

 

As far as I am concerned Im over it. It would be worth considering a generation from now no human in any TT running the usa and all of them need a Update.

It would serve a company right to have those warnings for a time and not update timely.

 

Prime had a bunch go down, including mine. It's only certain qcp models affected it sounds like. You have to carry logbooks even if you are on aobrd/eld, I've been asked to present them during inspection before.

Pain in the butt, I have no need to cheat, I only drive between 40 and 50 hours a week.

 

Mine sent a message for a GPS bug last night. It couldn't ping my location and the sensor wasn't working according to the message. It really wasn't that big of an issue, even though it said use paper. Around 10 thirty last night it was fixed. The device still did what it was supposed to despite whatever issue. Worst comes to worst, I would have just had to manually change my status to driving

I didnt notice anything unusual with my qaulcomm until last night when I sent my off duty hours to dispatch and it kicked some message back about dates not matching and driver duty status not valid .
Turned volume off and went to bed .
Today dates , times , locations and duty status all good but arrivals , empty and loaded calls get kicked back as invalid location.
I wont be losing any sleep over it and I'm not going to paper logs .

 

Not sure if its a KT thing or a Apple thing here now.
Today after the KT update and the Apple pad update something turned off the Wireless network.

 

The malfunction is real people. Tomorrow will be day 4 on paper.

FMCSR only allows 8 days.
