In nearly 17 years of driving I just had to make my own space for the first and hopefully last time. I'm just curious, why do so many drivers fill the off ramps, aisles and no parking areas at the truck stops when I can can almost always find 2 or 3 actual spots?

SUV driver dies after hitting semi truck parked on rest stop ramp -
there are no, "no parking" signs and lines designating travel lane.
article states driver "left marked portion of ramp", prior to rear ending truck.
I would say he was parked legal. -
I just gave you example. I am not in the mood to find you articles where car rear ended truck sitting on rampsLast edited: Jan 3, 2020
