I’ve only ever pulled manac stretch flats and rgns. The only real complaint I have about the stretch flats are the pathetic rubrail. They don’t like any side pull, I know people will say you shouldn’t pull sideways on the rubrail. When your 16’-20’ wide on the deck it’s about the only option, all the other brands hold up just fine.
This trailer hauls the same loads, notice how the rubrail is nice and straight. This is a Pratt trailer, maybe we could spec the manac with a better rail, but that would require the person purchasing the trailers to listen to feedback from the people actually using them.
A brand new 2017 Darkwing sitting on a dealers lot in Montana for 34900 fet included in price with a 60k coil package. For the price I was gonna take a stab at it and see if it would hold up to covered wagon work. I dont haul permits where I'm leased at. So that right there would give the trailer some longevity.
