I have put nearly 70,000 miles each on my 4 day cabs since I bought them 6 months ago. They run 7 days a week delivering tankers of milk on local runs, sometimes 24 hours a day. So far I have been pleased with them overall, especially for the cheap price that I paid for them!

Update: I changed the fan out and replaced it with the original set-up. We Replaced the front Engine Crankcase Oil Seal 3 times and couldn't get it to seal. Then found out that it takes a Special $525 Tool to install the Seal properly. The Tool Part # is ZTSE4873, I borrowed one from my Local Navistar Dealership and got the seal installed properly without problem. I found the tool on Ebay and offered $200 for it and they took the offer, so I now I have my own.

There are some voltage checks at the plug, if they are inspec, you replace the fan clutch.

This is for 2010+ Maxxforce series.

    Engine side of the harness
Pin 2 is 5 volt reference
    Pin 3 is 12 volts
    Pin 4 is ground.
Pin 1 and 5 are just signals.

Fan hub side of the connector
Check resistance between 1 and 3. Spec is 6-16 ohms. If open or shorted, replace fan clutch
Check resistance between 2 and 5. Spec is 2500-4000 ohms, if not, replace fan clutch.

Checked the volts I do get 5 and 12 on engine side
    On fan plug
    Between 1-3 there is 8ohms
    Between 2-5 0ohms
I ordered a new fan clutch from Fleet Pride 950 bucks. It looks like you just unscrew the big bolt counter clock wise am I correct or is there more to it that this?
