May Trucks?

May currently has peterbilt 387s, new 587s, international prostar, freightliner cascadias and a few kenworth t700s. I think they have phased out all of the freightliner centuries.

There no company trucks with apu's. They now only install inverters that you have to buy from them. They are a 2000 watt inverter that costs $225.

Not much to tell about the truck, except if you are a non smoker, be prepared to get a truck that might of belonged to a smoker. It can take some time to get that smell out. They should have it detailed before you get in it anyways.

Orientation is three days. Typical things like drive test, skills test, paperwork and videos and such. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long to get a trainer. Just depends on where they are and if they are available. After that, you should be out 2-3 weeks. It might be less, it might be more. Depends on how fast you catch on to things and the loads to get you back.

I'm thinking about going with May if i do i'm going to do team driving with a friend that is in school now. If i go alone i'm going to consider JBS.Do you make a lot more doing team?

 

They have been getting quite a few of the587s. I have been pestering my DM for one.

 

Just curious why you decided to do it this way? Can you make more money driving team? YES and NO Depends!
