if you wrote anything long in the same format as your post, they probably didn't wade through it.

    I couldn't.

You may not have to get some of your buddies to act as supervisors, clientele for your lawn business, or coworkers. All they gotta do is give these companies something to jot down.....what are they going to do? Show up in your hometown to physically verify? At the end of the day, its butts to seats. Don't fret man, you will get a hit. Just keep applying like the others said

Why? WHY? Why do you want to work for a mega? Why?

If your driving record is good, if your credit score is OK, and your work history, you can find a lot better place to work than a mega it just takes a little more work on your part.

Look at companies that have 10-50 trucks. If their safety record is good, their insurance carrier just might take a shot on you too. You won't be just a number until you have 10 years put in.

    #### the megas.

What difference does it make whether he wants to drive for a mega or someone else? You gave some good advice but his experience may be good if he gets on with a mega company. A driver is number no matter where he goes because if he quits, another butt will be in the seat and life goes on.

It sounds like based on your statement about SS, that you were working under the table. Is that correct? If so, you were unemployed in the eyes of the mega you applied at.
