Anyone ever had work done in Mexico (Molar City?) South of Yuma.
Wife is in need of implants due mostly to cancer treatments and the cost is relatively cheap compared to the U.S.
20K vs 60K for full mouth implants.

Seems as if the doctors are schooled at U.S. universities and use the same equipment and tools as any local dentist.
I've talked w others whose parents have gone down or retired to the sunbelt and have had a great experience but just for general cleaning or cavities.

Molarcity is Los Algodones Mexico. The Algodones City Map

A lot of doctors are trained in the USA .
Talked to a couple doctors they like to work outside america because there is less regulation and overhead costs.

That's what I've heard but before I accompany momma down I'd like a bit more reassurance other then internet reviews but at a 75% savings it may be worth the trip.

I have a cousin who went south for full implants and she's happy with the work. Not sure what she paid but I'm sure it was was considerably less than here.

My wife had the same work done here in the states and it was a freekin nightmare, in addition to costing $50k. The kicker is that my wife wore braces for 8 years as a teen, and in her mid 20's she had a bike accident and broke her jaw in 3 places. Wiring her jaw shut did something that just killed her teeth over the next 20 years. Now she has a new permanent set of pearly whites.

A lot of retirees & snow birds go to Mexico for medical, dental, eyeglasses, pharmacy. There is a thriving industry in Mexico border region providing services to Americans. I believe tour companies arrange trips for Americans, although you can park in the US and walk across the short distance from a US parking lot to the Mexican providers. I would look at web sites for retirees so you can learn the details from people doing this routinely.

I watch a lot of this guy's videos. Here is one about Algodonos Mexico, near Yuma. I would definitely make the trip if I needed it.

You might search ClarkHoward.com for medical tourism. IIRC Thailand and one of the Eastern European (Hungary?) countries are both big locations for Americans seeking high-quality low- cost medical services.

Top notch dentists. Stock up on prescription meds while down south.

My neighbor makes travel to mexico a yearly event for dental work.

I planned for and had dental work done in Costa Rica last year. Absolutely 0 difference in treatment. 1/5th the cost.
