How would it be possible to learn the ropes from experts in the Bakersfield, CA area? I can't get a job because of my misdemeanor in 2016. Thank you

More details = more assistance from the guys here, bro! Do you hold a CDL? Were you an O/O or Company driver? You are posting this in the O/O thread, just wondering.

It starts with the idea that there are no experts.

The second issue is to start with understand that maybe this won't fix the issue for you, which you haven't explained what it is that stops you from being hired.

To me, O/O are experts. They know it takes an authority to be an O/O, I don't. They know you need to buy a truck, I don't. They know you need to buy a trailer, I don't. Get me till here? Anyways, unbelievable.

Then, I also need to write a proper Business Plan. If I'm in a vehicle with an O/O, while the O/O is driving, I seat next to him in a vehicle and begin doing my own Business Plan. I need people to help me build my business, that it's the only way I want to do it. It's a feeling of joy.

Don't you think learning things, like driving, backing, . . . and maintaining your lane, and right turns, 'first' . . . might help you better build a business plan, O/P?

I have a felony agg assault sbi, didn't stop me from getting a job.

    But onto your point:

Q1. Do you have any experience driving a truck

A1. Y=good, go to Q2. N=Learn to drive then ask again.

Q2. Do you have any experience in the business aspects of trucking: taxes, maintenance, negotiating rates, finding good freight, revenue and expense budgeting, finding lanes of good freight, etc.

A2. Y=Good, go to Q3. N=Learn about these things and more, then ask again. A lot of information is here on this forum, also contact a local CPA with experience in trucking.

Q3. Have you ever lost everything in your life and had your dreams fall apart right in front of your eyes?

A3. Y=good go to Q4. N=If you try to do this without answering yes or following the suggestions for the first two you will.

Q4. You're very vague and business is about specifics, what exactly do you need help with?

    A4. ???
