Agreed, we should have stepped in earlier and deleted or closed the thread. We do not allow posts on the forum that promote violence towards others. We made a mistake on this one.

The original thread will be deleted, as the very first post broke forum rules, and the following posts added nothing of value. Some users will receive warnings about their conduct in that thread. The other threads that have spawned in response to the earlier thread are also going to be deleted, as the original poster's mistake has been acknowledged, as well as our own mistake in not dealing with it correctly sooner.
