I can count on one hand with fingers left over the number of times ive hit a barrel and in both cases...someone else hit them first. My guess is intentional considering he only started hitting them near the work crews.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

In the video description: the truck has several 8' long 2x4s used for securing loads underneath the trailer. one of them had loosened and slipped out, and was hanging probably 6 feet out the passengers side of the trailer.

I’ve seen guys with moose bumpers tag a few barrels because they were pulling twin 53’s and zone was set up too tight .

I agree, stupid barrels. My gripe is when a lane is closed for 4 miles, for no reason. Maybe the driver was in a cabover for the 1st time,,,

I was pulling a paint booth one time. 13’ wide. Route had me go through a construction zone. I hit every single cone they had placed. Whoops!

    Lamentations...
New guy:That's a cabover/cab forward. I've never driven one of those...
Old hand: Duck soup... Just mentally think of of a plumb bob dangling from your #######,
and keep it hanging over the left set of tread tracks on the road... Cab width will take care if itself.

And what would happen if a road worker was standing next to one of those "Schneider Eggs" and the truck driver whizz's by and whacks the worker about waist high. Possibly cutting him in half.

You could always tell someone new to a cabover, they'd be running with the right trailer tires on the shoulder.
