My 2012 Freightliner will randomly lose power. while driving and while sitting perfectly still. It does come right back immediately however if it is sitting it will does not start running (obviously) when the A/C is on and it shuts off the A/C turns off. The Radio does not reset the clock like it does when the battery switch is turned off. It has been in the shop (i use this term loosely as I feel their worthless) they checked "a circuit board" but they said it wasn't corroded so it's fine. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks in advance

i would say possible loose connection on batteries, Or the second thing i could think of is ignition switch is a little loose inside, next time you start your truck try messing with the key and just wiggle a little bit move one way and the other see if it does anything, the third thing i would check is to see if you have a loose cab power wire maybe even loose starter connections
lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
Pull on all the big wires going to your PNDB on your front wall under the hood. They are notorious for failing and causing this.
driverdriver and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this. -
Thanks guys I'll try this I have tried the switch didnt think it would be the battery since I felt even if it was loose it would be running on alternator power but I'll try it thanks
