My glider caught fire in cab 5/24 while I was asleep inhaled a lot of smoke and went to er co2 levels were very high and was put on oxygen. Today the adjuster called me and said truck is not covered under the insurance comprehensive plan since it was either “mechanical, electrical, or fuse box related” what’s the point of paying so much for insurance! She said only covers crash fire or a fire ball from space

The normal definition of a glider is a flying machine that is not powered by jet engines or a propeller or anything else. But I doubt that your semi-truck flies up in the air.

What do you mean by glider?

Sounds like you had a cheap insurance carrier. I'm not kicking you around but, I think you got took to the cleaners. If you had coverage (comprehensive) for fire, its shoulda paid. But sometimes we buy cheap insurance in these situations & sometimes it's just a shady ins company. Sorry for your misfortune.

This highlights why it’s important to talk to your agent and know and understand exactly what you’re paying for.
