My intro.

I am an owner operator and am leased on with Interstate. My wife also has a CDL, and we are working toward getting our own authority so she can get behind the wheel and we will be a team again. Just found out about this site and thought I would check it out. I am in my 10th year since I first got my CDL and in my 7th year of driving (I took three years off at one point).

My wife and I are both college educated and trucking is not either of our first careers.

I like doing this for a living.

I also write a blog called Truckin the Highways, at www.truckinthehighways.blogspot.com in which I simply write about my experiences as an over the road trucker.
