Pretty sure it was around 600 if memory serves me right. Was about 70 bucks... or maybe it was 90?? something in that range. Has a full metal housing so even if i get it dirty.. wipes right off...

I was playing with mine, i got a streamlight survivor. The other night was rolling through some two lane mountains and i was setting it on the dash and id turn off the headlights and wahlah, im reaching further than my headlights with a more consistant beam.

After i had that fun i was shining it off in the woods and it was pretty crazy, like having a spot light. I stopped a short time later before someone eho lives up there thought i was deer spotting.

I need a good POCKET SIZE LED flashlight, I had one that was a great size, but I had to shake and beat it for the light to come on, I put up with it for a long time but I finally smashed it flat with a hammer,

I bought one of these for twenty bucks about 7 years ago and it still works just fine and it's made in Georgia not in China.

If you ever run out to the West Coast or Indiana or Chicago you can get them at Fry's electronics stores for really cheap and they are made out of solid aluminum with a stainless steel bezel in case you drop it.

Thanks for bringing this up again. i must confess i'm still using the cheap home depot flashlight that you can find when you're in the checkout isle. But i will get on it as soon as possible.

Until then, i hear the "Cree" brand flashlights are just dynamite.
