Need a drop axles

    Typical 389 Pete car hauler axle is an Eaton E1462W. Which is a 3.5" drop, 14,600 lb. axle.

    So whats the correct why ppl lowering the front end? Ik i screwed up when i bought the truck but there has to be a way to lower it?

    I don't know. Personally I would not touch it. If it that much of an issue I would spec a new truck how I wanted it.

    You do know that these are built higher then the 379's to get airflow under the truck to cool the DPF's right?

    You can talk to a Pete dealer and they will send a request to engineering. It will cost you $100 or so but they will give you a list of all the parts you have to change to get what you want.

    Or so that's what I hear? There was a guy on here that wanted to update to front air ride on his and that was the route he went.
