    Looking for work, trying to be home every 5 to 7 days. live in north central florida, north of orlando about an hour/30 mins and just south of ocala.
    would work local job if descent pay, or travel. have Hazmat, but not experience with this, been driving over 20 yrs, 22 mos. OTR, rest local
    any suggestions on good companies that run out of florida??

    Here's an alternitave for you...

    If you have a car or van...you can use the van to become a 'courier'....couriers use their own vehicles to haul small packages...you can earn between $400-800 a week doing this and be home daily...

    Type in 'courier' on the net and the town you live in and see what comes up...

    Another thing people can do that most never consider...is you can convert your car or van into a taxi....

    You can buy a meter for your car...have it calibrated...and turn your car into a taxi....
    And after you establish a custimore base you can easily earn 100 or more dollors a day...

    But if you work for a cab company...they will charge you between 70-90 dollors a day to use their cab...

    Just some suggestions for you during these hard times...
