I parked for the night at the flying J in Jackson, GA. Got out and started doing my nightly walk. Now, I always keep my truck in sight for this reason. As I was passing my truck I noticed a shadow in my peripheral. I turned around and looked this time and clearly seen a person squatting at my rear trailer tire on drivers side. I turned around again and looked and this time the person ran behind the trailer. I could watch them walk by looking under the trailers. The person first went to the truck on the left, then the next one over, then quickly ran back to the right and at which one point I lost track. I walked a few more trucks back to the left to keep looking. Once I made my way back to the right a usx driver was flagging me down (parked 2 over to my right) and said there were a whole bunch of cops looking at ny truck. Now, it's clearly a lie because I don't let the truck out of my sight. I was walking up and down the row I was parked on the entire time. I was not anymore than 200ft away from my truck since I parked here. Clearly he was telling a lie because he got caught . I checked over my equipment top to bottom and nothing looks wrong. So it leads me to believe I just caught him as he was trying to do something.
Should I contact someone in safety at USX?
Need a USX contact

Husband had fuel stolen we believe by a USX lease operator a few years ago at a TA in VA. Husband worked for USX then and the guy had gotten pulled over at the scales with his logs not right and not having paid fuel taxes. The next morning the fuel cap was off the tank and he was gone.
