I use to be a truck driver for a company, got a DUI (not driving truck) and I've been out of the game for almost 10 years, in a couple months. I plan on trying to get back into it. But I was also thinking about doing it with a non class a truck. I liked the idea of buying a new ram 3500 and a trailer that way my wife could go with me too, she wouldn't be able to climb into a big rig. I was trying to figure out how I would go about finding work if I was doing it that way and working for my self. I'm having a hard time finding load boards that would give people with essentially no recent experience work. I'd love to get into car hauling, but I am open to anything really. I'd love some advice on where to start. I'm in Southern California as well.
