Google maps works good And all this "need GPS to show truck route"... use the RM atlas, in the front it tells you everything, when you get off routes like CA for example has many length restrictions, CA has a website showing all the info, use these tools, you will be better off than placing your trust in a "truckers gps." It's just a way for Garmin to sell the same thing with not a whole lot more programming for a much higher price. Especially if you buy it from the truck stop
Good luck .... the state doesn't even know where road construction is at a given time. Ask any OS/OD driver how many times state routing has effed them in a given month to prove this point. Waze crowd sourced info is probably the most accurate.
