How do I go about upgrading my CDL permit from a class B to a class A

 

Go to the DMV where you acquired the CDL-B Permit and say you want the CDL-A Permit.

 

permit is a written test.
general knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicle.
can take tanker and double/triple endorsement too

One more question would I have to take the air brakes and general knowledge over again or I can just take the combinations part

 

Ask the DMV about that.
