    Smart move, starting your career in tankers. You'll always make a good living pulling tankers.

    Schneider is as good start to get your foot in the door! I'm currently working here in the bulk division & it will be 6 months on the 23rd of this month. The pay is pretty good as well. There is better pay other places but you have to get that experience in

    @Thull
    I was told different pay rates than you listed on your post. I was told by the recruiter tank wash is $20 and detention was $20/hr after 2 hrs. Curious...

    I run out of Reserve, La. I'm regional so I go home on the weekends but sometimes I will stay out for 2 weeks at a time & take 3 days off. Or you can work 3 weeks straight & take a week (6 days) off. I have never gotten nor was I ever told about any tank wash pay. They only reason I could see them maybe paying you tank wash pay is if you had to sit & wait for that particular trailer to be cleaned, which I have NEVER done. & unless the pay is different per terminal you run out of I can ASSURE you that detention pay is only $10/hr unless it went to $20/hr this week. In which case let me know so I can go complain! Lol
