Need your help to develop a control panel for trucks

    I am currently working on a project where we are developing a new control panel together with Volvo Trucks which will be accessible from the bed. To make it as good as possible, we need your input as to what should be on the panel. So my question to you is what is most important to be able to control from your bed? Are there other functions you are missing in trucks today? Functions in your truck that you think every truck must have?

    Idle up and down . If heat is not putting out enough, you need to bump the idle up . Heck engine start /stop would be handy .

    A switch to lock the doors. I loved that feature of my kenworth 680.
    Bunk heater controls
    Ac controls
    Usb outlet to charge electronics
    Sleeper speaker volume controls for team operation.

    Why do we need all these fancy controls. Just need to be in adequate physical health to get up and take care of all that before going to bed. Ha.

    Don't make those things too fancy, otherwise we will have to interrupt sleeper time logging for onduty time to work them things.
