Well, my last company screwed me. (seems a common thing in this industry) haha. but it is what it is. Ended up having a nice chat with a pumpkin driver the other day (forget your name but I enjoyed our chat man did time sure fly on that one) He told me give pumpkin a shot I figure I might as well. posted an application via the site and no kidding within 30 minutes my phone was ringing (kinda shocked me)

Anyway ended up with a phone interview for Monday and if that goes well I could be in orientation the next week. So if all goes well I could be the next pumpkin driver wish me luck.

    Vilhiem and atruckr Thank this.

SNI must be awesome! Hired my stepson as a newbie. 6 months later he is a trainer ! I mean Training Engineer. ( this kid couldn't engineer his way out a bucket of #### ) .
He is a #####...can't/won't drive nights, will quit if he has to go east of Allentown, refuses to go west of the Rockies,,thinks Mt.Eagle is the highest mountain in the country but he has been over that hump 3 times in good daylight weather, never in ice,fog at night...
His latest challenge are flyovers,,,told dispatch to never send him to Dallas again..######,,just gets me riled and I am retired.
I have vowed starting this month to not help him find the next parking area, read a map for him while he plays with his GPS or hold his hand when he has an air supply problem...or calculate where to slide his tandems.
Rant over,,,,lol. Maybe I am jealous.. Hammer down kids !
