    Hi.

    I live in Texas.

My Texas Intrastate authority became active a couple days ago but I'm still waiting for my apportioned plate and then I have to do IFTA.

I was told that I could run Texas intrastate while I'm waiting but I cannot sign up for Uber freight or Convoy.

Uber said I'm not active...I assume they mean on the FMCSA website?

Do I just need to wait longer?

Also, can I run Texas intrastate with a temporary tag from the dealer while I'm waiting for my apportioned plate?

I have insurance already and I'm registered in the drug consortium and I took a pre employment already and the results are back.

So, do I just need to wait until it says Active on the FMCSA website? I'm eager to get moving because I haven't worked since the end of March.

    Thank you

He can run in state though, right?

I was told I could run intrastate only until my federal crap came through.

    Edjahman Thanks this.

My Texas Intrastate authority is active but I can't seem to sign up for any load boards so I don't know WTF-F.

Do you have a copy of your MC DOT Number.

You may need to have a fax sent showing the IFTA IS approved and use a temporary permit until the official IFTA is received if you need to start rolling.

    Edjahman Thanks this.

I just applied for my IRP tag in Texas and I'm waiting on that. It's online because of covid.
Then I'll do IFTA when I get my tag and then I'm done.

DAT said that I can run Texas only for now but I still can't sign up for load boards quite yet.

    DustyRoad Thanks this.

I have a 30 day free trial with DAT but I haven't activated it yet because I don't want to waste it just looking and not hauling anything.

Google free load boards. They are far from the best, but it’ll give you a idea of who has what and some numbers to call.

    Edjahman Thanks this.
