New authority using previous carriers IRP??

    Hello I recently got my authority is it legal to run under the companies IRP that I was leased on to? I have to get my title switched over to my state before I can register my truck. The DMV said it can take up to 30 days.

    Plates in former companies name? Should be able to get a temp title, and IRP in your name. Original title may take a while to arrive, but a temp will get you a plate. No different than when you purchase a truck.
