This happen at work yesterday and I had to take a couple pictures. This is a truck dump that picks up the truck and dumps out wood chips. I guess the driver didn't notice the dump was up in the air with a truck dumping out.

If I am interpreting the pictures correctly, it looks like he didn't realize the dumper was up in the air and tried (partially succeeding!!) to back onto the lift plate? Man, he messed the trailer up but good, and I am sure that some heads are gonna roll over this one. Many places have a system in place to prevent this sort of thing, usually just parking the tractor from the lifted trailer in front of the lift to block access.

In one of the pictures you can see the green dump up in the air with a truck on it. I would say they probably will do something so it does not happen again.
-
Well, the trucking industry loses another driver, the driver shortage worsens, and McDonalds gets a new fry cook.....
-
I heard this was the drivers 3rd day. He said he was a dump truck driver. He didn't even dump the truck after that happened. He parked it and left.
-
Well, if this was his third day and he did actually dump the truck (in a way)...it's a good thing he walked away. -
After a mistake like that, there's not much a hand can do or say but mumble a sorry, pull your hat lower & ride off into the sunset.
-
Actually, after that screwup, you probably walk off into the sunset, rather than ride...... -
That's sad
-
Oh heck, we all make mistakes... Wonder if he asked for his last check?
