They have Coronados in Texas with 500 S60 pre elog certified/ 300K warranty for $155K.

 

Paccar stopped because of all the hoops needed to jump through now to build an exempt glider.

 

Paccar is beyond junk.Calling paccar junk is an insult to junk.

 

That’s probably why they quit building gliders instead of the EPA regulations.

My 24 year old w900 with 2.1 on it has less squeaks and rattles then the last 2016 389 I drove with ~300k,

I’d also rather keep an old title truck then dealing with loop holes and who knows what from the epa and what they want to change in the future as far as gliders go.

 

To order a glider from freightliner or western star you now have to provide an (epa number?) from a glider finishing shop/builder. They won't sell you a bare glider without that number. I do know of a Detroit shop that is a allowed to build 7 gliders a year.

 

I believe you can also get them if you already have a title for another glider that was wrecked
