I am considering looking for oilfield work in SE New Mexico. I have heard that New Mexico is kind of picky when it comes to transferring an out-of-state CDL-is this true? I have a house in central NM, paid property tax, have current utilities and phone and have a vehicle registered there.-I have just never been a resident. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this so I can be prepared.
