Personally I think it has 6 too many roger beeps.

I have not got a quote from my wholesaler yet but I've heard it will be $300+.

 

It's a new Stryker so probably closer to $400.

 

I downloaded the manual but did not see a specification page. I am curious what the transmit range covers - is it truly only a 10 meter radio, or will it transmit outside the 10 meter band? If it will not, then I'm not sure who this unit is marketed at, since I doubt a ham would want a $400 rig with 6 roger beeps, no FM CTCSS ( optional), and only puts out 60 watts SSB. If it will go outside the 10m band, then I wonder how it got FCC approval? I dont see this descibed as an "Export" radio.

 

It's an export,plain and simple.Stryker's market is the CB/freeband crowd.
