newbie here but not to the trucking business. currently in a 2014 peterbilt 389 and seen alot of things i dont know if i can or not type of things. hopefully i can. first cummins though. been a cat operator for years.

ive got some examples.. trying to find 212-2 white led bulb and Iowa 80 says i can use a 211-2 bulb and so i bought a pair to try them and did not work.

are there 8inch stacks for these DPF systems? peterbilt tells me no but someone tells yes.

Ive got truck armor light cowel and sleeper kits and ordered blanks and customized my own light pattern. once i get the pictures downloaded to my computer.. ill post.

i have currently 6800 miles on my new pete and been to south carolina back before the winter storm hit down there.

before all this i ran:

1995 Pete 379 C-15 5NZ 550 HP

2002 Pete 379 C-15 6NZ 550 HP (tranny went out n had other problems)

2003 Pete 379 Flattop C-15 6NZ 600HP

2014 Pete 389 ISX 15 525 HP (CURRENT)


I could help with cat questions as ive gone though just about everything that a cat has thrown at me for mechanical problems but first time for CUMMINS so i may have uestions for that department. however i did a whopping 6.8 mpg going to south carolina and back to south dakota. impressive
