NOW I AM SOUTHERNPRIDE and i am not here to discourage you in any way however i am here to give you some things to watch out for.

first your about to take part in an adventure like no other one that can be very rewarding if you use some cauton. first you have to understand a few things the trucking bsiness is not bad it's drivers that make it bad not the business if your serious abot this business then learn to suround your self with poitive people then the business will get positive don't listen to all the negative and you will hear plenty of it, it just aint so.

sure your going to have problems but you have those where ever you go but you will find the longer your out the more the problems just go away, learn to think for yourself not some one else, learn to ignore all the gloom and doom your going to hear and you will hear plenty but it dosent apply to you as a new driver. drivers make it what it is.

your gping to hear things like driver shortage your not going to be abel to get a job, well it jus aint so you will find work but you will have to look for it but the jobs are there. most of those that can't find a job look like they live under a bridge act acordingly look like a pro you won't have a problem.

keep a positive attitude, your own attitude not like most you see out here that can be your downfall most people dont like the the average truck driver attitude and when you see and hear it you will understand why be your self and take and show a little pride in both your actions an dress.

in spite of what some will tell you knee knocker shorts and flip flops just don't cut it when your looking for a job.dress like a pro and you will get treated like a pro.

remember drivers make the business the business does not make the driver, chances are if you take my advice you wil have a job your first try.

when you get that first job make sure your truck is safe to drive this is a big thing remember the driver is responsible for the safe operation of any vehicle that he or she operates that means the driver pays the fines, if you do that you wont have any trouble with the DOT but yo must make sure itis safe before you drive no matter what the company says remember its your license and your money act accordingly.

CAN YOU BE A SUCCESS? of course you can all you have to do is do it but your the only one that can not another driver but you and you alone.

good luck to all of you and happy trailes. southernpride:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514:

A man or woman cannot learn with closed ears, eyes, or mind, and with an mouth.
In other words watch listen and learn. No question is stupid if you dont know the answer, but you have to absorb the information and learn from mistakes not only yours but the ones that others warn and advise you of. Be safe out there

and once again Southern Pride Thank you:biggrin_25514:
