I have been here just a few days so I will say hello. I have been trucking for some 34 years and plan about 4 more in the long distance trade. I have driven just about every make and model of truck out there (except a Marmon) and have hauled cars, reefer, tankers ( food and chemicals), and of course vans with every kind of freight imaginable.

I took to trucking like a duck to water at age 21 right after my military service and also ran team with my wife for about 12 years. She has retired in Florida, leaving me to keep her living in the grand style to which she has become accustomed.(LOL) Trucking has been good to me and has allowed me to live in a rural area where life is better. Face it, what other job can a person have that pays you to drive around and listen to the radio?
