I have,by Ohio Highway Patrol,even though the trooper knows we’re good for it I still show it to him on general principle!


I’m betting a dime to a dozen that this company probably couldn’t get insurance because of their reputation! They’re probably uninsurable before this accident!

 

There are basically no repercussions and they know it. All they have to do is go south of the border once the shtf and they essentially walk away from the mess they left behind them.

 

Gosh. This story is tough to read. 2 many people died that shouldn't have. It always baffles me how folks can operate any type of vehicle without taking care of the most basic of steps. The company needs to do the right thing and take care of that family some kind of way, then cease operations. Nonetheless, condolences to that family.

 

Willing to bet that this company wont do squat..close up shop and relocate and open under a new name and owner…many of these rag outfits pull this crap…

 

They do unfortunately. These are those things that bring about more regulations though. I already see where DOT targets smaller companies and owner ops harder than they do the larger reputable companies. I guarantee you, this will cause more inspections on those drivers than ever.
