I should clarify that when I said I lost my clutch brake, I meant it would not work anymore. I have the one piece clutch brake and is still intact up there and the pegs aren't broken. Everything worked fine all the way home so not sure why it pulled that stunt today.

Maybe clutch was hanging up a little on the input shaft splines?

    SAR Thanks this.

There are some 388's here that do that sometimes. They have C15 10 spd easy pedals. Then they may not do that again for a year but usually sooner. It has always been the clutch springs. Sometimes a little piece bounces around and then gets lodged somewhere. Usually trash in the bottom of the housing but not always. Not complaining about the equipment. They have a 2 1/2" snatch pin in front of the bumper and see dirt everyday. Have not had to have one towed because of that yet.

    SAR Thanks this.

Same thing happened to me. Then again and again pretty quick. That was the first sign a part was broken and finally got in a position that the clutch wouldn't work at all. A small broken part will prevent the clutch brake from working then the whole clutch.

    Here's mine

Don't worry about the grease, the clutch brake actually needs it to keep from glazing. If you read the installation manual supplied with a new clutch it tells you to smear a little grease on the friction pads to keep it from doing just that.

I thought I would come back and update. My clutch finally let go in my truck. It got progressively worse and lasted about 2 more months. Here is some pics
