Is it legal to get no hometime, I've been out on the road a month now, asked for hometime 2 weeks in advance up until most recent, and I'm still running! Is there any actions I can take?

What where you told when you signed on the dotted line??
Talk with your dispatcher or go through chain of command
And honestly.....you are home! -
Nope. You can run 7 days a week if you run off your recap. Is it right.... No but companies do it everyday. I'd suggest taking a step back and looking at your situation and hope like hellfire you didn't sign a contract.
Mud Dog Thanks this. -
The regulations allow you to never get home. Read them sometime, they are quite helpful.

I generally run 24 days out 4 days home, we get 1 day home every 6 days out and bet your ### I'm gonna take em. My DM is pretty good about getting me home close to on time.
-
You asked to go home. Now tell them your are going home or your gonna clean out your truck and quit!!
I laugh when I read these want ads for drivers that state you get 1 day off for every week out.
If your a hard runner and get the job done a good non-bottom feeder carrier when get you home when you want to be there. -
Very apparent you did no research whatsoever in the career you are currently in. Pack it up and go home. Over the road is not for you. Average time out is 4-6 weeks. You have been at this for one month and are already having problems with home time.
Time to hang it up!
I second that kittyfoot! Talk till your blue in the face, the newbies know it all!
roadkill4512 and zebcohobo Thank this. -
Since July 15th I've been home 20 hours, and not headed back that way anytime soon. If ou want to be financially successful over the road, you go where the freight takes you, and try to stay in the busy zones.
But I did take an entire month off, as prior to that I had been out 2 1/2 months.
