no idling rule?
Do all truck companies have this policy? That sucks!
Roast in the summer time , freeze in the winter. I had no idea!
And if you would name them off.
I heard Wal-mart has it. But wal-mart blows anyway. So what else is new?
no idling rule

..cause they are allowed in/out of their DC's over OTR trucks with their 'special lanes!'---we must wait and are supposed to obey their 5 min idle rule. Also the Wal-Mart drivers just drop/hook at the actual stores. Usually roll-doors, so dont even have to open a door!!! Bet they have 'inside' 5th wheel releases too (?!).

heck yeah i got a inside 5th wheel release right next to my Air dump lol i love that thing never gotta pull another latch!
they also have No idling rules as part of some EPA thing probably to cut them some Financial slack somewhere
Also because all of the Wal-Mart trucks are outfitted with APU's so it makes since to enforce a rule like that
O yeah i pulled a new 2007 Wal-Mart Trailer and it had this little button by the tandems and u pull it out and it retracts your pins and after you slide it you push the button in and it pushes the pins back out lol i loved it
(if you ever wanted to know why a Wal-Mart Driver gets loaded 1st infront of everyone no matter when they got there even us dedicated drivers its because Wal-Mart has a Fine System set up and if their driver gets there and the shipper isn't ready to load them Wal-Mart Fines the shipper $250 for missing an appointment!) and the driver leaves and goes to another pickup
