why wont they pay? i would say call a lawyer but any lawyer will tell you it'll cost you 5 grand to get the 5 grand. you might try small claims court though if you have all the proper documentation.

in your blog you say you call and they do not answer the phone....and they owe you $5,000...???

how could you even consider the load with out at least half down payment....????

as an o/o (??) why didn't you check deeper into this company...??

hate to say it (but i will) this does not make for a good business venture for you, owning your own truck......you need to deal with bona-fide brokers whom you can check up on the the Red Book......

Put a claim on there bond, call the shipper direct and let them know whats going on and if your an ooida member they will send them a legal letter on your behalf. As far as what Rerun8693 said you can check a broker out today and they have exellent credit and a A+ rateing but when its time to pay its a diffrent story. Had a broker that i hauled for for 10 years allways paid on time then one day no warning phones where off and he was gone, stiffed alot of guys luckely not me.

First thing that hits me is the web site and e-mail address. Those right there start warning bells for me.

Looking into the phone numbers. They show both regular numbers being registered to INDIVIDUALS not businesses. Each at the same address and each claiming to be president of a different company.

Another thing in the Google search, There is suppose to be a "About Me" page attached to that website. It has been deleted.
