Co worker just informed me of this sad news and i hope it’s not the same story like the bus with the hockey team but seeing the Day’n ross truck I don’t have good feelings

Very sad. The design of that intersection and the destination of the bus would suggest the bus driver screwed up, but we'll have to wait for the investigation. Tragic regardless.

Can't blame the Day and Ross driver for this one according to all the police reports.Sounds like the bus driver pulled out in front of the truck.

That’s a 80 I’m/hr speed zone and many trucks blow by me at 105 km/hr . I hope he wasn’t doing 20 over at the time because a accident like this they will have the big boys doing a full investigation due to the amount of casualties. RIP seniors

Apparently the police have dash cam footage from the truck and the truck driver had the right of way and the bus crossed in front of the truck . Still a sad story no matter who’s at fault

True but they also say they are not assigning blame until they download trucks data and phone . They obviously want to see his speed after watching dash cam or if he was distracted. It will take awhile so it’s hard to say if crash was avoidable by a professional driver or not .
