So I've seen/talked to a few people that own their rigs and just haul prime trailers (not L/O saying they own it, actual O/O). I'm not experienced with the business side of owning or leasing (load boards, pay, etc) but I have a very simple question. Is it possible, say if you have way too much spare money, could you buy your own tractor outright and kind of use it as a company truck? As in still get dispatched under prime, paid by prime?
