    Hey everyone,

Looking to get some info here. Im on the fence weather or not i should go independent or sign on with a company as an O/O.

Could i get some feed back on what company you guys have had or having luck with. Or,,, if independent is the way to go.

My other question is how would i calculate per mile rates to charge customers? This has always stumped me.

Btw i was an O/O before things happened, i learned a lot now im ready to apply myself again and make it work. Looking to build a fleet so any ifo would be great.

    Reagrds,

Im leased on with a carrier at 70% reefer. I do ok. They like me to pull their customer loads when im in their lanes. Otherwise i pick my own loads off DAT. My avg week 6500 gross or 4550.00 TT on 2200 2500 mi . I spend 800 to 900 on fuel i have a 2016 Fitzgerald S60 . Discount fuel we have elite pass with pre pass . Tolls are discounted pre pass free. If i do all company freight i take home 2500 avg. If i do load boards i avg more depending how savy you are with negociating. No trl rental 30% to company all they ask. I bring in decent numbers for most part so they just let me go do whatever

I would recommend leasing on to a small carrier and learning the system. Stay away from the megas as it can go very poorly. As lots of questions!
