I run 15w/40 in my DD15 2020 and do oil changes at 25k I don’t run synthetic and no it doesn’t effect my warranty. Oil samples come back hood.

Tranny gets serviced yearly even though it says lifetime fluid. Planned obsolescence. Buick has 294,300 mi on it. No issues, oil is cheap parts are not and I change all fluids yearly weather they need it or not.

Gm recommendation is 7500 miles now.

I like going twice as long on oil.
Good for the planet also.
