I run 15w/40 in my DD15 2020 and do oil changes at 25k I don’t run synthetic and no it doesn’t effect my warranty. Oil samples come back hood.

Well, my wife’s 15 Buick Enclave that she puts 37k a year on commuting gets oil changes every 3k miles. GM oil life monitor would probably go 10k.
Tranny gets serviced yearly even though it says lifetime fluid. Planned obsolescence. Buick has 294,300 mi on it. No issues, oil is cheap parts are not and I change all fluids yearly weather they need it or not.
My automobiles usually last 400k before I sell them.

Gm recommendation is 7500 miles now.

    Dexos1 certified. That's fully synthetic.

I like going twice as long on oil.
    Good for the planet also.

I also like my economy. 40mpg.
Also good for the planet. I'm not using anywhere near as much oil as cars past.

    bzinger Thanks this.
