I've been driving a little over 11 years now, am a professional acting and driving driver..had a delivery today at a food warehouse. The dock itself was easy to get to..but they didn't leave enough room to get properly lined up for the back due to the fence being there. It took me several tries to get it in there. I was kind of hard on myself I guess for not putting it right in like I normally do. But I didn't hit or tear up anything!! Lol so how about it...are you guys hard on yourselves too like that??

Yes. I can be pretty tough on myself sometimes too. Backing can be so frustrating sometimes.

pretty hard on myself. I grew up on the farm and daddy had me backing tractors and trailers and pickups and trailers and anything we could hook a trailer too from a very young age. I've got some skills. if it takes more than one pullup, even a tight spot, I'm not real happy with myself. pride in work and skill I guess......and no shame in my game getting out to look if I have to to size things up on the really tight ones.

but, like everyone, I have those days I couldn't drive it in there straight much less back it in lol

the bottom line is as long as nothing gets dinged, scratched or dented, it was a win.

Yea I guess that's my thing..I like to do it right and I take pride in what I do. Now that I sit here and think about it, I didn't hit or damage anything. So all in all it wasn't that BAD!! Lol

I'm never hard on myself, I'm always too busy laughing at the guy next to me that can't do it either.

Too much crap that I put up with every day to deal with the stupid stuff, can't get into a dock without readjusting? So do it, move on, but before I leave, I will remember how to get into it easier.

I'm not too hard on myself as long as I don't hit anything. Who cares if it took 10 pull ups and other motorists are honking and angry. None of them got out to spot for you. Just remember the situation and how you'd do it better for the next time.
